About Us
Morgan Childers
I come from a musical family and have been playing guitar since my uncle gave me his 6-string Gibson when I was 6 years old. Some of my best memories are playing music late into the night with my 3 kids; Lucas on the guitar, Rylan on the drums, and Soquel singing and playing the piano.
I grew up in the 70's listening to singer-songwriters from the back of my mom's station wagon that often included Bob Dylan, James Taylor, John Denver and classic rock like the Beatles, Fleetwood Mac, The Eagles, and Pink Floyd. At the age of 15 and with my first paycheck in hand, I spent the entire thing on a dual cassette boombox so I could make my own mix tapes.
My wife, Tanja, and I live in Paso Robles our 3 dogs and spend our free time at farmers markets, listening to live music, strolling downtown, gardening, and wood working.

While I didn't grow up playing music other than a few piano lessons as a kid, I have had a life long love affair with music. Starting with old vinyl of Gladys Night and The Pips and the Atlanta Rhythm Section. From there, moving on to 8 track tapes of Elton John, The Eagles, and CCR while riding in the back of mom's car (seatbelt optional). Then just before starting junior high, I bought my first cassette tape, Moving Pictures by Rush. The moment I heard the opening riff of Tom Sawyer, I was hooked. While I appreciate many styles of music, the soundtrack of my life has always included plenty of hard rock guitar music.
I grew up on the Central Coast and for the last 20+ years I have been in Paso Robles. My wife, Tracey and I, love living in this community. We work here, we raised our kids here, and we play here. No better place to be than Paso Robles.
